My name is Allison and I am 22 years old. I was just recently married to my wonderful husband, Eli, on November 16, 2008 and am now happily living with him near Richmond, Virginia. We are very excited to be building our own little house as debt-free as possible to live in, and can't wait for it to be completed!
I am a born again Christian and have given my heart and my life wholly to my Savior, Jesus Christ. I accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at 12 years old.
I feel the Lord leading me to be a Proverbs 31 wife and mother, God's most precious callings for women, and am finding great joy and fulfillment in being a newlywed wife and learning everything I possibly can to be the wife that God wants me to be to my husband.
I chose the verse from Proverbs 31 as the title of my blog because my goal as a daughter of the King is to focus on delighting in all that I do for the honor of the Lord. My desire is to reflect the qualities and attributes of the Proverbs 31 woman and learn all that I can about being a Godly daughter of Christ.
I hope this blog will be an encouragement to all who read it as I am continuously learning and growing in my pursuit of becoming a Proverbs 31 wife and mother (Lord willing). Please enjoy this little glimpse into my life as I'm learning to do all that I do with a cheerful heart as to glorify the Lord!
