A Little Bit About Me...

My name is Allison and I am 22 years old. I live in the scenic countryside of Virginia with my parents and two younger brothers, Philip (19) and Eric (13).

I am a born again Christian and have given my heart and my life wholly to my Savior, Jesus Christ. I accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at 12 years old.

I feel the Lord leading me to be a Proverbs 31 wife and mother one day, and I find great joy and fulfillment in preparing for that calling while still at home and under the authority of my parents.

I chose the verse from Proverbs 31 as the title of my blog because my goal as a daughter of the King is to focus on delighting in all that I do for the honor of the Lord. My desire is to reflect the qualities and attributes of the Proverbs 31 woman and learn all that I can about being a Godly daughter of Christ.

I hope this blog will be an encouragement to all who read it as I am continuously learning and growing in my pursuit of becoming a Proverbs 31 woman. Please enjoy this little glimpse into my life as I'm learning to do all that I do with a cheerful heart as to glorify the Lord!
